Not got the label but I’ve got Coeliac Disease and LOVE TWIN PEAKS. Never been ill after eating it. Why can’t you be my neighbour 😭?

OhioOhioOhio · 21/12/2018 19:37

You are very, very helpful. Thank you!!! It was ice cream. Do you want the recipe?

YES PLEASE 😍😍😍

Melt one twin peaks with most/all a tin of condensed milk. Cool a little. Fold in to a pint of lightly whipped cream. Freeze. Stir. Freeze. I then bash up a bit of the twin peaks and make it a bit like a mcflurry.

Thanks for your help. My neighbour is now eating the ice cream!

It's a mini adventure! Grin

I love MN sometimes.

I have a Twin Peaks in front of me - the ingredients are fine. The allergy advice is milk, almonds and egg and the additional warning is 'May contain peanuts and other tree nuts' - so no mention of gluten cross contamination. We have coeliac disease in the family so I'm forever checking packets Grin

Thank you so much everyone. Yeah, i love mn too!

What is this Twin Peaks loveliness that’s like Toblerone???

LordNibbler · 21/12/2018 20:23

It's just like Toblerone yes. I'm coeliac and I make a Toblerone cheesecake at Christmas, and this is just as good as Toblerone IMO

TightPants · 21/12/2018 20:25

Where’s it from LordNibbler?

DannyWallace · 21/12/2018 20:26

Aren't toberones gluten free?!
I eat them Confused never had a reaction and I'm sure I saw that they were fine for me!

bobstersmum · 21/12/2018 20:34

You can buy the twin peaks in poundland. And yes they're a pound!

ChatNicknameAlreadyInUse · 21/12/2018 20:34

Twin peaks are from Poundland and they are amazing! I'm gluten intolerant and can eat these no bother Grin

richierichardsaunt · 21/12/2018 20:42

The do contain palm fat though.

Which means they taste of orangutan souls.

It's a shame though because I used think they were great, luckily the white toblerone is orangutan free.

TightPants · 22/12/2018 07:48

Thanks. I’ll give them a try (well the white one anyway!)
Why does every damn thing have palm oil in it now? Angry

richierichardsaunt · 22/12/2018 14:04

@TightPants

Annoying isn't it.

They just seem to suddenly add it.
Biscuits and anything with premade pastry has it in, even justroll.

Bastards, making me bake from scratch
