I have none

araiwa · 21/12/2018 18:18

Surely noone gives a shit these days

KittyMcTitty · 21/12/2018 18:44

It’s for charity - great!

CheeseTheDay · 21/12/2018 18:56

It's for charity. It raises money for one of the most important charities in this country right now. It's what the spirit of Christmas #1 is about.

Great.

EnglishRose13 · 21/12/2018 18:57

I've no idea what it is or who the competitors were.

chipsandpeas · 21/12/2018 18:57

never heard the song but its for chairty and for me gives a big fuck you to the manufactured music industry ie xfactor winners getting most xmas no 1s

Heuschrecke · 21/12/2018 19:15

Sir Cliff Richard? I have absolutely no idea whether he's released a Christmas single - but he usually does most years - and I have absolutely no idea about any Christmas singles anyway Xmas Grin

slashlover · 21/12/2018 19:53

I can't stand LadBaby, they're not funny at all to me. It's great that it's for charity but hopefully it disappears soon.

Huntawaymama · 21/12/2018 19:56

I thibk it's great well done them! Lovely couple and loads raised for charity

AmmoniteMum · 21/12/2018 19:57

All proceeds are going to The Food Bank Trust. That’s amazing Star

MamaLovesMango · 21/12/2018 19:58

I’ve been singing that for years.

Well pissed off.

LoniceraJaponica · 21/12/2018 19:59

I haven't bothered with the chart run down for years. By now I haven't even heard of the majority of bands/singers/people who can't sing for toffee in the top 20 these days.

Who is no1 then?

MamaLovesMango · 21/12/2018 19:59

Although a great cause and it it flips the bird at the X-Factor twattery.

Still...could’ve been me.

Celebelly · 21/12/2018 20:00

I really want a sausage roll now

MaidenMotherCrone · 21/12/2018 20:00

I think they’ve done a brilliant thing. I bought it, won’t ever listen to it but as a pp said, it’s what Christmas is about.

Well done them!

MinorRSole · 22/12/2018 12:36

I love it, love them. Normal family, clearly love each other a lot. Boys are gorgeous, she promotes breastfeeding without saying a word. Song is actually quite catchy and must have raised loads for an incredibly worthy cause. He's a bit annoying but that's hardly a crime. Good on them

DroningOn · 22/12/2018 12:51

Charity single for a great cause, what's not to like.

Well done Mark, Rox and the boys!

sweetcherrycake · 22/12/2018 12:53

I love it! It's for charity so should be number one! Good on ladbaby!

MuddlingMackem · 22/12/2018 12:59

Really pleased for them. Great cause (although shouldn't be needed Sad ), and it's one heck of a Christmas present for his wife. Grin

LaurieFairyCake · 22/12/2018 13:03

I don't care beyond as long as a charity single won it. So I'm delighted by that.

I will never hear or listen to it. If I'd known (I'd never know) - I would have deliberately purchased it.

yawning801 · 22/12/2018 13:08

I loved it - it makes a change from the usual contenders who can barely sing anyway. The song does sound pretty autotuned though - but I suppose that's the norm now. Like a PP, I also want sausage rolls now!

MuddlingMackem · 22/12/2018 22:39

@yawning801, on one of their videos about it they sing along and then comment about how much autotuning was needed. Grin

ALoadOfCodswallop · 22/12/2018 22:44

I would like to see the numbers that are actually donated to the charity and where the rest goes. Its not all proceeds that they promised but all Profits. There is a big difference in those statements and something just feels off for me with Ladbaby that I cant put my finger on.

BrightonBB · 22/12/2018 22:49

Watching the video on the LadBaby FB page where they find out they are number 1 you can see how much it meant to him.

I think they seem a really genuine couple - if they wanted to make loads of money they would post their videos on YouTube for the revenue and not FB.

MuddlingMackem · 22/12/2018 22:57

@ALoadOfCodswallop, I doubt very much they would be able to afford to donate all proceeds, it would have to be all profits. Yes, it's a charity record, but that doesn't mean they should have to cover all the costs of making and promoting it out of their own pockets.
