Can we just have a thread where we can post frustrations without having to elaborate or be judged !?

I will start:

I wish the ungrateful little shits were not coming this weekend when I have lots of Christmas Day prep to do !!!!!

And

I hate wrapping presents !!!!!!!

OP posts:
Buttonsky · 20/12/2018 20:43

I wish I didn’t have to work every single blooody day from tomorrow until the 26th!
I wish I’d started wrapping before tonight!
I hate seeing everyone being organised on Facebook when I’m just sitting here drinking wine!

Sure I’ve loads more Xmas Blush

Wasither · 20/12/2018 20:44

I wish I'd said no to babysitting Angry

ShadyLady53 · 20/12/2018 20:47

I wish people would keep their germs to their fucking selves.

Lettermethis · 20/12/2018 20:47

I wish I had a job and friends and people to buy Xmas presents for and a busy life instead of feeling alone, struggling with PTSD symptoms doing nothing all day. My life is a waste.

Huntawaymama · 20/12/2018 20:49

I wish my sinusitis would go away and my baby would sleep

ShadyLady53 · 20/12/2018 20:49

@Lettermethis Flowers I promise it can get better, maybe not overnight but you won’t be like this forever x

Spaghettibol · 20/12/2018 20:50

You are being very unreasonable.

MrsMartinRohde · 20/12/2018 20:50

I wish my child hadn't been excluded from school today

NineInchSnail · 20/12/2018 20:50

@Letter Flowers
I miss my daughter and that makes Christmas Day very hard. I wish I could hibernate through it instead of pretending to be ok so that I don't spoil everyone's day.

Lettermethis · 20/12/2018 20:51

@ShadyLady53 that's really kind, thank you. I try to be more positive but I think Christmas highlights all the holes. Thanks again Flowers

pinkiepie1 · 20/12/2018 20:51

I would like my dds to go to sleep so I can have 5 minutes to myself.

Lettermethis · 20/12/2018 20:53

@NineInchSnail I watched a programme about bear cubs yesterday and got actually jealous that they get to hibernate!

Christmas is a wonderful time to celebrate, but it's incredibly hard when you're reminded of what's missing. Flowers

Merryoldgoat · 20/12/2018 20:53

I wish my children weren’t sick AGAIN Angry

PennyArcade · 20/12/2018 20:53

I wish people would make up their minds and let me know if they want me to babysit on Christmas Eve or not. I don't mind babysitting but I have other offers that I need to confirm asap. It's not fucking difficult to let me know whether im needed or not. I have a life to get on with too!

KitschBitch · 20/12/2018 20:54

I wish my DH would wrap some presents

Mulberry72 · 20/12/2018 20:57

I wish it was the 29th December and we’d be tucked up in a little cottage with a roaring fire, just the three of us and the fucking nightmare of Christmas was over!

ShadyLady53 · 20/12/2018 20:59

@Lettermethis you are right, it really does. There are a lot of holes in my life too and I am feeling very alone but compared to last year, I got a job I dreamed of having and didn’t think I’d cope with (or even get!) due to cptsd but I have and that’s helped me get out of my shell and be a bit more social. This time last year I thought things could never change, my life had stayed the same for so many years. I felt like I was rotting from the inside out. But, thankfully, there has been an improvement and it can happen for you too. Baby steps. Sending lots of good wishes to you.

BlueJag · 20/12/2018 20:59

@Lettermethis I'm sorry you feel so sad. So many people could benefit from your company.
There are so many people that feel the same way.
Why not volunteer? You can make friends and feel the benefit of helping people.
Soup kitchens, the elderly, homeless people.
Feeling part of something bigger it's great.
It may be just what you need.
I remember helping last year to check Christmas shoe boxes for kids. I love it. I was so proud of people coming together to make children have something for Christmas.
Smile

Corrag · 20/12/2018 20:59

@Lettermethis Flowers
Your post made me a bit tearful. I've been dreading my first xmas without my Mum but your post made me realise I have other things to be thankful for. I hope things start to look up for you in the new year.

KeepServingTheFestiveSnogs · 20/12/2018 20:59

Flowers to those of you who are obviously going through proper hard times.

I hate wrapping.

I hate that I'm going to have to be polite and hospitable to DM's vile bf on Christmas Day.

I wish I could sleep atm

HildaZelda · 20/12/2018 21:00

I wish MIL lived 500 miles away, as opposed to 5 bloody minutes Angry

NoShelfElf · 20/12/2018 21:03

I wish I had the body I did when I ate healthy food and exercised 3 times a week

Lettermethis · 20/12/2018 21:05

@ShadyLady53

My PTSD is the complex type too, only very recently diagnosed and I start trauma therapy soon, so your reply has made me really hopeful! Smile I'm so, so glad you've made such amazing progress. One day at a time. X

Buttonsky · 20/12/2018 21:09

I wish I could stop eating CakeXmas Confused

ShadyLady53 · 20/12/2018 21:11

@Lettermethis Absolutely, we can only work on today. If you haven’t heard of them already check out Richard Grannon (he’s currently based in Liverpool and has lots of YouTube content that’s helpful) and Pete Walker’s book on cptsd. Very helpful. Hope the trauma therapy does it’s magic for you x
