To be annoyed at Chris Evans constantly putting his kids on his show?

I've been listening this week and he has his son on the radio most days, asking guests questions, including in his jingles and all his kids on the Dine and Disco event last week. Obviously the children go to private school so have broken up for Christmas, but does this warrant him bringing them to work everyday?, after all the BBC is his employer (we pay his wages), I couldn't take my children in to work, no way would my employers allow this, but fine for CE. His constant promotion of his family is so annoying, but his tribute to his late Mother was very nice, I am glad I will no longer have to listen to him on Radio 2

You are so NOT being unreasonable!! If I wanted to listen to a small child presenting a radio show I’d look for a station that did that.
Ok have the kid in one day, but every single bloody day-I can’t wait to see the back of him!

I think it's sweet. And the guy really turned himself around after being an absolute dick years ago (I've read his books, he admits as much himself). One of the stations I was listening to until this year, one presenter was always banging on about his twins. But not for long each time. That got tired quickly but if they were actually interacting with the show it would have been cooler. Kids can be real funny sometimes.

I agree. I like Chris Evans but young children, not so much.

I never listen to Evans.

I recommend everyone else does the same.

If you don't like his show, why not listen to something else?

totally agree. its tedious. i listen to radio to escape my own children. i have had to change channel.

Roll on Christmas Eve and the back of Chris Evans I say.

It's all very well doing don't listen but there isn't that much choice. Regional radio generally rubbish. R1 is inane. Today programme on R4 is just full of Brexit etc which I find either tedious or anger inducing. I could try 5 but have the impression there is lots of sport? I tried 6 music but I can't get it in my car. What I'd quite like is something like the radio 4 Saturday morning show or Graham Norton.

I’ve enjoyed it. The eldest boy has a lovely speaking voice. He’s leaving soon, so it can only last another day or so for you OP.

Yeah I do change stations when his kids come on. Pretty sure his adult DD who he had nothing to do with does too.

I know showbiz runs on nepotism but this is too much!

That sounds tedious, but I wouldn't listen to anything Chris Evans had to say if you paid me.
