For a 55 year old who is trying to accumulate ‘less stuff’ (but is wealthy and generally buys herself something when she wants it). Very creative, good at arts / crafts and enjoys them, not into music / makeup / books (has a kindle) / fashion. Loves animals. Doesn’t like going out for dinner / experiences.

Budget preferably £80ish, would go up to £110 for the right gift.

Help me Obi MN, you’re my only hope.

What about adopting an animal?

Gatehouse77 · 19/12/2018 08:31

Tickets to a show.
Make your own hamper if you know their tastes.

Would they go for an experience day at a zoo or the like?

ScabbyHorse · 19/12/2018 08:34

A gong bath (sound therapy)

lastqueenofscotland · 19/12/2018 09:02

Art fund membership?

milienhaus · 19/12/2018 09:04

An art class! One day classes are usually around that level - do something exciting like glass blowing / pottery making.

Pachyderm1 · 19/12/2018 09:05

Fabulous suggestions, thank you!

I agree with previous posters; give her an experience rather than an item. Or nice food is usually appreciated.

JaceLancs · 19/12/2018 09:14

I’m near that age and would love
A spa day voucher
Cashmere gloves and scarf
Tickets to a show
A cookery or craft day experience
I like days out so could enjoy national trust or English heritage subscription
If you know what crafts she enjoys how about a couple of magazine subscriptions

KC225 · 19/12/2018 11:18

I am.near that age, I would love tickets to V&A Dior exhibition next summer. I would like a one day chocolate truffle making course, cocktail making afternoon. I aksos looked into Christmas wreath making
day but it for this year but it was fully booked.
Agree with he other if she is going for less things/clutter than something fun like luxury consumables or an experience is he way to go.
