AIBU to ask how single parents of kids with autism manage to work full time?

I believe 65% of parents where the child has a disability have taken a demotion and few work full time. How do single parents manage where they are full time and have children with disabilities? I am a single parent and have several kids; one of whom has autism and ADHD. I find it difficult to go anywhere, impossible to go out to malls to go clothes shopping myself, tricky to get grocery shopping done, to feel like I am sane. Sometimes I think perhaps I’m just hopeless. The children’s father is contributing very little financially or otherwise. I cannot rely on him to take them for the weekend or for the night.

Forgot to mention, returned to the workplace after some time out and I’m now working full time. It’s tough and sometimes I think perhaps I’m a walking disaster or another person might be managing better.
