Can you use UK Amazon Prime to deliver abroad?

It seemed to let me add the address, but then said there was an error, but the link it took me to was a generic help page and didn't make it clear.

The item had free delivery, but don't think it was Prime, so guessing that was UK only - should I be able to deliver Prime items abroad?

No, Prime only works in your country of residence.

Actually, I guess what I just posted is not actually correct...we moved here from the US and for a period I had US Prime and UK Prime, but I paid for both of them and they were only good in their respective countries.

Aha, bugger, I see. Thank you for clarifying.

You can take advantage of the 30 day free prime in any country to make the order, then cancel straight afterwards. It’s how I place orders for family and friends abroad.

Kind of, yes! Not with free delivery though. I live in Hong Kong and have a UK Prime account. Certain items can't be shipped here and obviously the delivery times are longer than the UK, but I use it to buy stuff that's only available for Prime members (and to send gifts in the UK).

Not to Australia as the government has decided to ruin it for everyone by introducing online GST (VAT payable to the Aus govt) and Amazon is too tight-arse to implement/comply. Angry

We are in MLE and some Prime items are delivered for free here, but not next day.
