To think Jeremy Corbyn is ever more useless every day and becoming just as culpable, almost, as the government?

Just what the fuck does he think he's doing?

Utterly reprehensible man. Put where he is thanks to the votes of the young, a demographic hugely skewed in favour of remain, and now looks like he's going to enable a hard Brexit.

I will never vote Labour again if he does that, and I'm not alone. When will he start opposing and actually do something to justify the role he has?

Yes.

The Labour Party is the most horrendous joke in the history of political parties.

What with the whole Brexit mess and awful infighting in the Tories, Labour should be smashing the opinion polls and providing really strong opposition.

They aren’t. JC is awful. He’s as culpability as DC and May for destroying this country.

worthygirl · 18/12/2018 21:20

Yabu. The blame for this shot show lies entirely with May, the tories civil war and ultimately with Cameron who should never have called a referendum

worthygirl · 18/12/2018 21:21

*SHITSHOW!!!

Toxthing · 18/12/2018 21:25

Totally agree. I’ve voted conservative all my life. I hate what the Tories are doing now, but I cannot, for one second, contemplate the thought of Corbyn being in power. Hideous man and frankly he is very dangerous as he would bankrupt this country. If Labour had someone more centre left, as opposed to an outright communist, they would be in power as they would have won last last election.

theduchessstill · 18/12/2018 21:25

But the opposition is there to oppose, and should find it relatively easy to do so effectively when a shitshow like this is going on. But he hasn't.

Anyone who had ever heard of Jeremy Corbyn before 2015 knows that he is a life-long Eurosceptic. It would be very surprising if he didn’t vote Leave in accordance with everything he has ever believed in.

He has made no attempt to stop Brexit at any stage because he supports Brexit, he believes in Brexit and he always has.

InspectorIkmen · 18/12/2018 21:33

I so agree with you. His lack of action, direction, ambition and drive is almost criminal and I simply do not understand how the party isn't jumping up and down at this.

After Harman lead the Labour party into no opposition of reducing the qualifying number of children that allowed a family claim CTC, they lost their way - Hence Corbyn and his anti cuts. Corbyn was all talk and is really not about the most vulnerable at all - either!

The Tories and Labour are a mess - too many with their heads in the trough.

alansleftfoot · 18/12/2018 21:49

Many of the Labour heart lands voted Leave, Corbyn himself is a Euro sceptic.
