What is the word missing in this saying. "An ongoing BLANK of harassment"

To say that someone is harrassing you constantly. I've gone blank and need it for an essay!

I got it first! 🥇 Star

GreenMeerkat · 17/12/2018 22:23

I'd say torrent

BluebellsareBlue · 17/12/2018 22:34

I'd say onslaught

longwayoff · 17/12/2018 22:51

Hmm. Trickle? O maybe not.

Disquieted1 · 17/12/2018 23:01

Ummmm...what is the collective noun for harassment? I don't think there is an official one so we can create one.
How about a Parliament?

longwayoff · 20/12/2018 10:16

After seeing the reaction to JC yesterday and today, I'm with outragedEric and blubells, only onslaught will do.

katekat383 · 20/12/2018 11:25

Campaign. It’s a military metaphor so it suggests a plan and a strategy which is what you are having to endure.

katekat383 · 20/12/2018 11:25

Sorry. Just realised it’s for an essay!
