AIBU to find it slightly annoying to not know how much people spend on me for Christmas. I don't mean exact figures, or want to know how much items they've chosen are.
I mean if a relative tells you to pick something yourself, or to let them know what you'd like.
My DPIL, do this and never know what to ask for. They can spend £50 on dh, or £500. It varies. As a side note, they are quite well off due to family monies.
I was looking online at the sales, and asked DH how much I should look for. To which he chastised me to not be so aspirational in my requests, without me even quoting a website or figure!
If I am buying for my neices, I will tell DSis, "around 40", when she is thinking of something I can get them.
