i comment on a thread and it gets deleted ! [grin]

not my comments getting deleted but i seem to have commented on about ten threads recently that have been deleted pbp, too outing, spinning a yarn, trolls.
is it just me ? am i the only one who kills threads ?

It happens to me, too.

Might be that you get most interested in the most unusual thread titles.

not really odd titles, going back to ex, cf neighbours, run of the mill stuff really, they get plenty of responses.

Usually I find in the last one to comment on threads that don't get deleted thread killer much.

So many get deleted - get fed up with it!! Though I hope the "pregnant at 48" lady with a host of problems was a troll, would hate to think someone is coping with all of that.
But when MN says we've taken it down for a while - I do think Ive EVER seen one reinstated. Usually the juicy ones too

Happens to me a lot too - I'm quite slow at writing posts, so often by the time I have posted it is apparent that OP is trolling away like mad.

I do get annoyed when OP posts 'My DH, Theophilus Farquharson and I, have just bought a house in Bizarrely Named Road, Bizareville, and are worried because our NDN (Eglantine Beelzebub) is a member of MI5 called and has some strange visitors'

Then you get a message 'OP has requested thread be deleted because it is too identifying' - well don't bloody post all the details of your life. If you've been stupid enough to do it, hard luck it gets left up - think before you post next time (is my tough love opinion)
