First off, to say, I find True Crime quite interesting. I find the police investigations especially interesting - how they catch them basically.
However, what I don't like is how they seem to linger on the crimes themselves. The actors acting out being grabbed, strangled, raped, sexual interactions, etc. The very detailed descriptions sometimes of the dreadful things perpetrated by the attackers. Sometimes you see parts of the real person's dead and brutalised body at the crime scene. Of course they sometimes show men's bodies, but its far more the case that they show women's bodies. Either way, it feels to me very disrespectful to the dead, its unnecessary and surely it must be illegal in some way.
