DH & DS2 have submitted apprenticeship applications with grammatical errors

FGS. DH has some talents but written English is not one of them. Also, I deal with recruitment for my organisation and have never submitted an job application myself and not got an interview. I know this stuff.

So what possessed them to submit these applications while I was out yesterday, without getting me to read them?

GCSE's FFS and no paragraphs in the covering letter!

Mind you, judging by the quality of applications we get for teaching poaitions, it might not be all over, given that he's 15 and looking for an entry level apprenticeship!

Why would anyone submit a job application without having someone else read it?

And yes, I know there are typos here, but it's not a job application !

You spelt positions wrong...

Also: he's 15 and looking for an entry level apprenticeship - and his application reflects what he's genuinely capable of, rather than some overly finessed version which means he's an unparagraphed disappointment in reality.
