To ask for any advice

I posted recently about miscarrying. An unplanned baby, but wanted. I started bleeding heavily last week, clots, going through a pad an hour. This continued heavily for 48 hours and has since tailed off. and since then I have continued to be sick in the mornings. I took a clear blue test this morning, and my reading has gone 1-2 weeks pregnant to 3+. Is there a chance I am still pregnant. Obviously I’ll call the dr tomorrow but I wanted to ask for any advice whilst waiting this evening!

No advice but Flowers and a bump in the hope that someone with experience will come along.

IceRebel · 16/12/2018 16:44

Without getting your hopes up, it might have possibly been a multiple pregnancy so you could still be pregnant.

KatnissMellark · 16/12/2018 16:46

It is possible- you could have had a sub chorionic haemorrhage. It seems from your test results HCG could be riding which would indicate an ongoing pregnancy. See your GP and ask to be referred to epu for a scan. Good luck Flowers

No advice tunnock but best wishes and may you get the outcome that you want. You deserve it FlowersMx

Tunnocks34 · 17/12/2018 10:12

Currently at the EPU waiting for a scan.. Rang my GP who gave me their number. They told me to come straight in. They have advised there is a bit of a wait and they’ll squeeze me in as and when.

Fingers crossed I have some good news! I should be roughly about 6 weeks which may be too soon to see a heart beat.

Hope you're not waiting too long. Sending best wishes .

LittleScottieDog · 17/12/2018 10:42

Fingers crossed for you.

HCG can still be picked up by a pregnancy test even after miscarriage; it took two weeks after my mc to get a negative reading.

I hope you get the news you want. My current pregnancy, after the mc, we saw a heartbeat at 6 weeks so it's possible.

Thinking of you.

Tunnocks34 · 17/12/2018 13:31

Hello! I am back home...after hearing the most amazing little heart beat! I had a subchroionic hemorrhage, Dr said it must have been quite large as there were still a couple of clots could still be seen clearly on the scan. But, baby is ok for now so fingers crossed this is a smooth pregnancy! Thank you for all of your lovely words x
