As background, I currently have:
- one son I’m not doing a good enough job at being a mum too
- one elderly parent in hospital for the nth time
-one other elderly relative in care who I have PoA for
- my patient, loving husband who only drives me mad occasionally 😁
- my company, which involves 50-60 hours a week, quite a lot of stress and makes me the major breadwinner
- my horse, who lately I rarely see due to all of the above
When everyone is healthy, it all just about works. When they’re not, it doesn’t. But instead of nourishing myself and helping myself get through it, my default when it all goes wrong is coffee, junk food and wine, none of which actually help me. So if anyone has any tricks for staying on track when the going gets tough, please god share them...
