How do you wrap up a slide?

DD getting new ( big girls ) slide for Xmas. Am donating her old slide to a school Im currently temping in. BUT. it's been.outside - it's wet / dirty ( fine can wipe off the worst of it) but it's not clean enough to go in my car unwrapped. if I use box new slide came in it won't fit In my car Besides I want to keep new slide in its box for now. Bin liners won't wrap around it and i.need to get it to school tomorrow as I'm not going back til Jan ( school is 5 miles away and v cash strapped. No one else can pick it up,) WWYD? Tia

Could you line the carboot with plastic rather than the slide?

Wrap the slide in cling film or foil and then put it in your car.

Throw some towels down in the back of the car and wash them after.

Double sheet or duvet cover around it, then stick it through the wash after.
