To think a huge amount of buyers on eBay are dishonest

Sold some clothes over the last two months and has trouble with loads of items and eBay has found in favour of the buyer in each case. Including
Top didn’t look like the picture- (it was a picture of the top)

It was too small or too big (despite the size being stated)

It didn’t fit my son as he is on the big size!!!!( Well don’t order his age size then)

The shoes are the wrong shade of black!!!!

The dress was not in good condition ( this was sent back and by the smell of it and the food stains it had been worn on a night out) with the dress I rushed to the post office as they wanted it for 2 days later.

Most of the items I have just refunded and left as I don’t want to be more out of pocket with the postage and of course you can’t give buyer bad feedback and eBay always sides with them dispite evidence shown.

I give up with it. No more eBay for me

It’s certainly true that as in any area of life there are dishonest people - but I sell a lot of clothes on eBay and I can’t remember the last time something came back.
I photograph probably more than is necessary, describe things to within an inch of their lives, measure everything and sometimes even photograph specific areas with the tape measure in place - all of this is a pain but it leaves very little room for thick/dishonest people to complain after the event.

I've only sent something back once. Children's jeans where the seller didn't state they were plus sized, just gave the age size and the pictures didn't show the size on the tag. When they arrived the tag clearly said '12 PLUS', not the size they were meant to be.
