To think that Forever Living is a load of tosh

What is it with people and forever living? I phoned a friend for some advice on what I could do to encourage hair to grow back on a small part of my dogs coat (post minor surgery shaving) she said I need to put forever living aloe gel on the coat and then put some other stuff from there on her food.Then sent me the link, I had a look but for some gel they were charging a shed load when I could get some pure aloe Vera on amazon for way less.
To cut a long story short she told me that Forever living and drinking aloe Vera basically cured every ailment known to mankind. Even though the aloe Vera gel I was looking at was 99.9% pure it was no good because it wasn't from then. When I pointed out (nicely) that aloe Vera is aloe Vera I was completely wrong. Apparently only the magical Forever living stuff works and nothing else.
Do you think the NHS should be made aware of aloe Vera from forever living? Surely they could save a fortune when apparently drinking this stuff cures everything 😳
She's a very sensible person and I was actually rather shocked that she thinks this and with some passion apparently!!!

Oh dear God. I've lost friends to this crap too OP. Just tell her you'll be waiting when she's finally realised what a load of shit it all is and is ready to come back to the real world.

Unfortunately Forever Living almost brainwashes you, you are constantly told how amazing it is but in reality their products are no better than cheaper alternatives. I left Forever over £4000 in debt and from an excellent credit rating to a bad one due to the bullying of buying your minimum if you can't sell it. Be there for your friend she will be broken by the time she gets out. I wish more than anything I hadn't joined

I have a previously sensible friend who has bought into this kid of bullshit through another company for essential oils
I was just nodding and being non committal until she told be it would cure my Rheumatoid Arthritis and I could stop taking the drugs that essentially save my life and keep me moving. That was the limit and I let her know she was peddling expensive bullshit. I am still incredibly angry with her stupidity.
If she hadn't tried the hard sell and cures everything shit I would have just ignored and moved on but these companies are not ethical or benign no matter what their worshippers claim and need to be called out on it. She broke our friendship not me.

The reason the Forever living products are so expensive is because so many people take a cut of the price. Your friend will get a commission and the person above her will get some and so on up the line to the top team leader. That’s how it works.
