Aibu to think it is perfectly fine for a woman to drink beer or cider instead of wine

So I'm more of a beer/cider person than a wine person. Don't get me wrong I love wine it's just not my go to drink. My go to drink is Budweiser, Magners, Stella, old mount cider or orchard thieves.
But anyway the other day I heard a co worker saying how it's not lady like to drink beer or cider and it's a sign of alcoholism.

It took me all my strength to not go Round there and say yeah me having my pint of Magners with around 2.6 units is alcoholism but you drinking that entire 9.8 unit bottle of wine by yourself is completely fine.

So Aibu to think it's ok for a woman to drink beer and cider. Btw this is obviously under safe conditions aka if she's not driving, if she's not gonna put anyone in danger when she drinks it

Wtf? What century are we living in? Obviously OP because you have a vagina you shouldn’t drink what you like drinking and you should drink what (1950s) society dictates you should drink. Why are you even asking this question? Surely you know the answer. Your co-worker is a twat.

I'd never drink wine on a night out. For me it's something you have with dinner.

I'm a single parent and rarely drink at home alone. If I do, it tends to be a bottle of beer or cider, since if I open a bottle of wine it's likely to go off as I wouldn't be drinking more than one glass.

My alcohol intake would probably average out as 1-2 units per week, if that. So much for your colleague's comments.

I was a Xmas do last night. Most of the women were drinking bottles of beer. I'd rather drink beer than end up paralytic on wine.
