After watching Dynasties...just wow! Beautiful, majestic, deadly.
Elephants come close second.

Pallas’s Cat

They are amazing, yes. I'd be hard pushed to choose one animal as the most magnificent though.

They are very regal... I prefer them to lions. Saw some in frankfurt zoo at the weekend.

Also quite a fan of the rock hyrax. Cute, slightly evil looking, and somehow related to freaking elephants.

I love rock hyraxes! I even have rock hyrax slippers. Though in our house we call them jazz badgers.

I like tigers but I have a soft spot for cheetahs (so beautiful and so very fragile - and they purr!) and for sheer invincible badass awesomeness, honey badgers.

Yes to the Hyrax - some them in Kenya and they are hilarious! Apparently share 95% if their DNA with elephants Random!!

Humpback whales! Vast, athletic, beautiful, and they protect other species of whales against orca attacks

Jazz badgers

Tanuki's, or "racoon dogs" are pretty cool. Fun fact - in Japanese folklore, Tanukis have magical scrotums that can be stretched and turned into things like ships or kettles.

Just watched dynasties and yes! The are absolutely beautiful creatures. I said to dh they are definitely the king of the jungle in my eyes, more so than lions. Watching it prompted me to sponsor one for my daughter. Reading about what is happening to their numbers is heartbreaking and there doesn’t seem to be any surefire way to stop the poachers 😢

I also think chimps are pretty amazing but they are in a different league!

However, since watching 'Secrets of the Zoo', I've fallen in love with giant anteaters and red pandas.

Animals are wonderful. I love them. Wish I could see dinosaurs (from a safe distance), I went to see 'Walking with Dinosaurs' some years ago at the O2 and was enthralled.

However, I just have three cats. Two elderly, one in early middle age. They have to do for now.

Octopuses

Snow leopards are even more magnificent.

They are utterly mesmerising animals.

However Quokkas have my heart.

I love cats. But when it comes to wild animals, it must be the wolves. Amazing animals.
