AIBU to wear the same dress to my work Christmas party?

Will anyone notice if I wear the same dress from two years ago? Quite a lot of the team has changed while I was on mat leave last year so not everyone has seen it. I can't remember what any of the team wore so am I right in thinking they won't remember my dress? It is bright yellow but otherwise just a normal dress.

Not only will no one notice, but no one will give a shit about If you wore it before.

The rest of the team all have a lot more disposable income as mine all goes on childcare pretty much, they have all been talking about their new outfits but I think I am over thinking it.

Nobody notices and nobody cares. Most people are only thinking about what they look like. Most people can’t even remember what a bride was wearing (except the bride and her mother).

We worry about that where I work but no-one can remember what anyone wore at all last year never mind 2 years ago! We can barely remember what we wore ourselves!

I don't know if anyone would notice but you are certainly not being unreasonable to wear it as many times as you like.

I love clothes but only quirky, alternative vintage shit. I hate formal wear and never see anything I'm comfortable in. Therefore I have one dress suitable for summer events and one for winter. I've worn both dresses to every single formal occasion for the last 5 or 6 years! I assume some people might recognise them but I couldn't care less - it's so hard for me to find something that both suits a smart occasion and suits me that when I achieve it I stick with it!

Of course no one would remember let alone care. I must wear the same stuff all the time, I don't mix my work clothes with my private-life clothes, so pretty sure my work evening dresses have been seen more than a couple of times. I would be amazed if anyone even notice the colour black

I probably would remember someone wearing something distinctive like a bright yellow dress. Would I judge them for wearing it more than once? Only when we reach the point in society where men are judged for wearing the same dinner suit to every night out for 15 years solid.

I never remember what anyone wears andhave worn the same dress to the last 3 events at work. I’mint made of money.

If I did notice it would flash through my mind - thats the dress they wore 2 years ago but would stop there eg no judgements or negative thoughts.
