..to show older relatives this contraception advert at Xmas to get them off my back?

So I am one of those non-parents on Mumsnet, and am here because I love the goss, chat and fun.

I never ever want kids, never ever. But older relatives think I am deluded/mad/wrong/weird. Am so fed up of older relatives asking when I’m having children at Xmas (the ones I can’t avoid as I don’t really celebrate Xmas anyway).

They think I doth protest too much. Would it BU to show them this advert, to let them know what I think about kids, what kids mean to me? Or bit far to make a point?

Btw, I think this ad is frigging hilarious, and I horror-watched it earlier today!

They'll think it even more if you start showing them adverts.

Just tell them you don't want kids and leave it at that. If they try to take the conversation further, just close it down and change the subject.

I think that advert is hilarious.

But, “to let them know what I think about kids, what kids mean to me”... do you not think that might come across as a bit rude by your relatives (assuming they are parents) and possibly to the many of us on here who have chosen to have children?
