To think (hope) that children born recently will be unlikely to start smoking

I only have a 2 year old DD so unsure if parents of teenagers or older will agree, but it seems to me that smoking seems to be a lot less prevalent amongst young people now. It was ‘cool’ when I was a teenager and young adult and unfortunately I did smoke until my late twenties. I’m hoping that smoking tobacco will eventually die out completely - what do you think? Could it even be made illegal one day?

I don't know. I still seem to encounter quite a lot of smokers, and if not then it's vaping.

Just saw one of my friend's DC's puffing away on the walk home from school which is a bit disappointing really...

I see lots of teens vaping near our local secondary school every morning. Really surprised if I see one with an actual cigarette, but it does happen.
