Hair, what should I do?

I had my hair done yesterday, took about 4 hours (have a lot of hair). I like the cut but I'm not happy with how the colour has come out. I think it looks a bit green (husband says it doesn't)

I've attached pics of what I had before, what I asked for, and what I got.

Not sure whether to leave it or quickly go and buy a box dye, maybe with a copper in it and change it up.

I accept the blonde has gone completely.

What colour would take out the green effect.

(I paid 80 but I'm not going back to have it redone - simply don't have the time!)

Is the brown one the 'after' one? Or the yellowly blonde? Neither are anything like the colour you asked for and I wouldn't be happy. Neither look green to me though.

It doesn’t look green to me

Lovestonap · 11/12/2018 08:39

brown one is after. I wanted rid of the yellowy blonde

Oh OK seen the other pic. So the brown is after? 'Brown' being the key word. The inspiration pic is definitely 'blonde'. It looks nice still and I wouldn't recommend you trying to dye it yourself now - either go back and complain and ask for more highlights, or live with it.

Agree with wineymummy - it is definitely not what you asked for! But I do think it looks nice..

The brown will most probably fade after a few washes, I had mine dyed brown last year from bleach blonde, and after about 10 washes the brown had faded so much.

I wouldn't dye it at home, leave it a week or so and see how much the brown fades

Am i imagining the green? It's the sort of affect of a little bit of blonde left over the much darker blonde.

Oh well, as long as it's not Grotbags...

Hi it doesn't look green to me either. But I've read that red tones get rid of green. Apparently tomato sauce works.

BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 11/12/2018 08:43

The picture in OP looks very brown, but the follow up picture looks much nicer, there's definitely lighter highlights.
Much better than your yellow blonde before.
Don't mess it up with a box dye

OK. Mumsnet has spoken. Will live with it. Thank you for advice.
