I've been with OH for multiple years, and he's been amazing parent to my DD. He hopes to adopt her in the future. Her not so DF has no interest in her, has never met her, never even asked how she is, and had said he will happily agree to the adoption. However every time I've asked EXP to fill in the forms he comes up with an excuse not to, or forgets or does anything to wind me up. I don't have any info on him anymore so I can't fill them in myself. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to push this forward, and/or in the mean time, give my OH some rights over DD incase I can't be there? DDs SW mentioned a potential agreement between me and EXP where he agrees to give OH responsibility but it's not through the court? But I can't find any info and regular PR is only available if we get married.
Also I don't know if this is changes anything but he's not on the birth certificate (didn't show up) and he's never paid cms or anything like that.
