I’m not suggesting that trolls should be more discrete obviously. But given that a lot of the emotional vampiric trolls appear to be being sussed out a lot quicker these days we seem to have acquired a different type of troll of late. Goadie fuckers some might call them, but blatantly not true posts clearly designed for a few minutes of extreme responses after which the OP must know their thread will be deleted.
And so blatant that people openly call troll on these threads now (and rightly so IMO) but beyond the days when people would take a post like that at face value and just report behind the scenes iyswim.
So what’s the motivation? Has trolling just become a game now?
