Council bidding locata status rejected means?

Hi has anyone been bidding on locata and their bid got rejected? . Does it mean we were on top or why has it been rejected? Thanks

I’m assuming you’re talking about social housing?
I obviously live in another part of the country as it’s not called that’s here, but does it not show you your bid position?
With ours, it shows our bid position until the bidding cycle closes, your position can change depending on others bidding who are higher in priority or people withdrawing their bids.

After bidding has closed, housing associations then go through the list, they will discount anybody whose family makeup does not suit the makeup of the property, they will discount anyone in rent arrears, they are likely to discount you if you have a record of drug/alcohol abuse or antisocial behaviour.

If they decide you are not the right family for the house, it shows as skipped, but could likewise be rejected or similar, so sounds like you haven’t been successful in your bid this time.
