Scuzw the manky toe but I've just noticed this brown mark under my nail bed. It's not on any others. Bit worried incase it's a melanoma. Wondering if I'm being daft or if it's worth getting checked. Not had anyone step or damage my foot in anyway so wondering wth this is.

That looks fungal to me. Would see a GP if it doesn't clear up with over the counter stuff.

A bit random but Vicks (the chest rub you use when you have a cold) is ace for foot & nail fungus. Just rub a bit on twice a day.

Have you got psoriasis? Sometimes nail psoriasis occurs where the nail lifts from the bed. Does it hurt?
