To think Christmas Jumpers are a bit of a useless Christmas present?

Because you can only wear them on Christmas day pretty much, then put them away for 11 months as it's not Christmas anymore. I'd rather have a jumper I can wear all year round! AIBU?

Definitely YANBU, it's too late by Christmas day!

Yes, see also Christmas themed clothes for children. People gave DS1 loads. What was the point?

Yay, not just me Grin

Yes. Totally agree.

NoLeslie · 08/12/2018 14:23

I agree. Christmas mugs and plates are an even more annoying gift as you can't even vacuum pack them away.

tillytrotter1 · 08/12/2018 14:25

They're fairly gross at any time of the year, red for heaven's sake, a horrible colour!

Craft1905 · 08/12/2018 14:28

They're an even worse birthday present.

Poloshot · 08/12/2018 14:29

Very tasteless whenever they're gifted

I like mine and wear it several times throughout December and early January. It's from a charity shop and I've had it 4 or so years so it's certainly had its fair share of wear.
As an Xmas present I think it'd be funny but of course you have to know your audience - I'd only give something like that to someone I know would see the funny side and would wear it the following year. It isn't, imo, something you need to buy every year though because that is just wasteful.
