Doing the minimum around the home

My mum made a comment that when I was it ill didn't matter, I could just do the minimum around the home. But it got me thinking, I actually always do the least I can get away with. Are others like this?
I really want to tackle larger home based projects - clear out the garage, get on top of the freezer and make a load of meals - but never seem to get the motivation.

Yeah I'm like this.

Me too. As long as it's tidy and generally clean. Things like skirting boards aren't daily/weekly tasks.

Yup.

Dh jokes that I do more cleaning in the ten minutes before someone comes round than I do all week.....

Yeah I do the minimum. Hoovering, tidying, cleaning kitchen and bathroom. I only dust if I notice dust or cobwebs 😂
