To have a nap?

Mid forties, children live away, I do shift work. Been in town today, Christmas shopping, had a lovely time. Got home half two felt exhausted so went to have a quick nap. It’s now half five and I’m still in bed, had s cup of tea but felt too tired to do anything else (like wrap presents). I have a little more energy now and have to go out to collect dh from work.
Was just wondering if other people do this sometimes or am I lazy?!

Yep, I did this pre-baby... And now I nap any time I can post-baby! Enjoy your 'duvet afternoon'. 😊

I would do this if I ever got an afternoon to myself. I did go to bed at 7 the other day, it was glorious.

I do. But I always struggle to wake up from a nap and end up feeling groggy afterwards rather than refreshed. I think no longer than 30 mins is encouraged as a power nap, but I get so cozy and snug!

I nap most days Grin
I live a charmed life

Yeah I think part of the problem was the house felt chilly outside of bed. Ugh have to go to buy cat food and milk too which involves getting out of the car....
