I’ve been trying to find a Christmas movie for my two dds. My seven year old is very clued in and inquisitive so I want a Christmas movie that doesn’t cast doubt on Santa. Yet every one I’ve found so far has at least one character who doesn’t believe. I’ve abandoned Netflix and now they are colouring in....

YABU. Not all children believe in Santa, so your DDs will come across children who don't believe. I would have thought having a character that doesn't believe at the start but ends up believing would affirm a child's belief rather than cause them to doubt.

Nativity - your 7 yo will love it

I have this problem too. Elf has a fake Santa in the store. I think home alone does too. My kids still think Santa that they visit at the grotto is the real one.

If your child is clued in, why do you want to keep pretending Santa is real?

Get Santa!

I hope you don’t live near Hemel Hempstead.... It so, don’t enter the town from the M1... there are various pizza advertising “Santas” at each roundabout on the way in! It’ll mess with their little minds!

Thankfully not Oakenbeach ha ha. They are 6 and 4. I think the youngest will get onto it before my eldest

Arthur Christmas is the best Christmas film ever. And I'm an adult. May be watching it tomorrow. I love it!
