Its "meet Santa day" in ds Reception class today,on group chat with some other mums I speak to I found out this morn that a lot of them were sending their kids in Santa jumpers etc, basically non uniform.Rang school and they confirmed it was school uniform as normal.Told mums and a lot were choosing to ignore text and send as planned. Were they being U as meant the school uniform kids were left out or was I for not going along with it?

Both and neither. It's just one of those things. They made their choice and you made yours.

For what it's worth I wouldn't have either but I wouldn't expect the others not to because I wasn't. If they want to look like idjits and risk their kids getting into trouble that's up to them. The other kids aren't missing out because there is nothing to miss out on. You can't control what anybody else chooses to do of their own free will.

Why would any parent do that?? Why not phone the head and ask, total lack of respect.
