Foot pain

Beckymad1 · 07/12/2018 03:21

I was playing around earlier and tried to kick a football, ended up kicking a wooden door full pelt with the ball of my foot.

My foot hurt instantly after but as the nights gone on I'm in so much pain. I can't even sleep as my foot is twitching and hurting.

Do I go to a and e now or wait and see how it is in the morning? I don't want to waste anyone's time if it's bruised but it honestly is so painful

If you can get someone to take you, I'd say go. Can you improvise a crutch to not put weight on it though. Broom, ski poles etc..you can borrow a wheelchair once you're there.
My guess is, broken somewhere.

I'd say go as well if somebody is available to drive you there.

IHaveBrilloHair · 07/12/2018 03:39

Go now.

Beckymad1 · 07/12/2018 03:59

I could improvise a crutch, thing is it's so painful even when I'm laying in bed.

DP is fast asleep now, so will have to go in the morning. I don't want to wake him up incase it's nothing.

Any ideas what position I can get in so I can at least get an hours sleep?!

Just got up to get ready for work and I can't walk and can't bend my toes without it nearly making me cry.... has anyone had this before?!

Why would l have been able to walk on it yesterday after I did it if it's broken?

I'm really hoping you've been seen now.

Wolfiefan · 07/12/2018 14:38

Do hope you’ve been checked out. I broke my ankle and walked on it for four weeks before finding out. It didn’t heal well.

BarbedBloom · 07/12/2018 14:57

I walked on a broken foot for days, please do go get checked out

Stalmida · 07/12/2018 14:58

I hobbled around and drove when I had broken a bone in my foot. It wasn't until the following morning when I could barely stand on it that I went to A & E. So it's entirely possible it is broken. I hope you've had it checked out.
