I just watched a very delicate looking spider walk slowly and carefully across the floor. I googled and there are over 35,000 different types of spider

They don't scare me. As long as they aren't in my bed I don't care where they go. I get that they sometimes appear suddenly and scuttle but this one was very elegant.

I have a Honduran curly hair and a Mexican red knee. Both are calm and I've never been bitten.

I dismay at the hysteria surrounding spiders.

Like the "EEK a mouse" archetype of helpless women.

Gives men a chance to be manly and see off the spider.

I don't buy into the rubbish.

People who think they have no spiders in their homes are deluded.
There are hundreds of spiders in every home, and one is never very far away.
They live inside sofas, beds, cracks in walls.

I am happy to share my home with spiders, if I see one I leave it,.
