Why do celebrities never seem to get stretch marks?

This isn’t a criticism, as I know everyone is different and they look great.

But I watch the Mummy Dairies and Sam, Billie, Ferne etc. all look amazing in bikinis. There are no stretch marks whatsoever. Same with a lot of other Insta accounts/ celebs etc.

Sometimes I feel like I’m the only one who’s stomach got completely ruined by pregnancy. I could exercise (and stop eating biscuits) to improve it but I have a lot of stretch marks that will never go away. I don’t think I could ever wear a bikini again.

Just a bit envious!

Of course there are people who naturally don't get stretch marks. But if you think all celebrities just coincidentally fall into that group, you are clearly wrong, and then you get the impression that there is something unusual and wrong about having stretch marks.

I've got great youthful skin, family have come off lightly in the stretch mark department, but nothing natural would have prevented my abdomen turning into a heap of skin coloured crimpoline. Being a short size 8 with a 43" waist at the end of pregnancy meant quite simply that my elastic limit was exceeded. An EMCS and trip to HDU as my organs were struggling and my body ballooning with water retention finished off the job. I gained 50% of my own body weight due to a big-for-me baby, masses of fluid and ending up near housebound with SPD. Out of the 4.5 stones I gained in half a pregnancy once I could finally eat, 10 days after birth, 3 of those had gone. My stretchmarks faded from red to silver quickly and I don't regret slathering the bio oil, but only something like a tummy tuck could restore a flat stomach. When I plank, it hangs down like a sad, flaccid empty udder 😂

I look grand in clothes. Selective choices of underwear mean I can pull off something halfway to slinky, and a high-waist bikini can do wonders at hiding the majority of what my skin went through. I doubt anyone analyses the small amount of sagging skin visible above my naval.

I simply don't believe that in an era of widespread airbrushing and cosmetic surgery/ treatmements let alone expert wardrobes, lighting and cosmetics at all these celebrities are depending on just good skin, diet and exercise. There are a lot of ELCSs in private hospitals and I suspect a lot of 2 for 1s go on.

I wish society was more honest about the changes that women's bodies go through. That's why I decided to fuck the crimpoline skin and get a bikini anyway. I'm not saying never to a tummy tuck, but I don't think I could be arsed to put myself through the risks and recovery.
