In wanting to stab him in the arm???

mycatistoo · 04/12/2018 18:56

I'm on a coach to the airport. The guy in front has reclined his seat right back (which I don't mind at all) but he's put his arm right in front of me!

I can be a bit weird about personal space so am wondering if feeling like I want to bite his arm is a little ott or justified? Grin

In wanting to stab him in the arm???

Im assuming that table flap comes down....

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 04/12/2018 18:58

He will get a sore arm sitting like that.

But more importantly - are you going on holiday?

SnailorSwift · 04/12/2018 18:58

YANBU this would drive me up the wall.

Bodear · 04/12/2018 18:58

Just tap him on the shoulder and say “excuse me, would you mind moving your arm please”. It doesn’t need to be a drama if you ask. I know it’s scary but honestly, when you ask, people do move.

Rattinghat · 04/12/2018 18:59

Spill something on his sleeve

RapunzelsRealMom · 04/12/2018 18:59

What Bodear says ^^

BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 04/12/2018 18:59

Hang your handbag over his arm

PlateOfBiscuits · 04/12/2018 19:00

That would give me the absolute rage. Do you have a book or something you could nudge him with?

mycatistoo · 04/12/2018 19:02

He's obscuring my channel and volume change too. Envy

Not going on holiday as such, coming back to the UK!!! Smile

At least it’s not his hair or feet.

mycatistoo · 04/12/2018 19:03

I can't ask. I'm not an asking kind of person.

I'm glaring at him though. Grin

mycatistoo · 04/12/2018 19:06

Oh my god. Who would put their bare feet in someone else's space?!

OP posts:
mycatistoo · 04/12/2018 19:06

Table flap does come down. I'm coughing a lot now.

There are other options...

In wanting to stab him in the arm???
mycatistoo · 04/12/2018 19:18

I could write 'asshole' on his hand.

OP posts:
BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 04/12/2018 19:18

If you can't ask (and your glaring at the back of his head isn't working) just lightly tap on his arm twice quickly to get his attention then gently push it back towards him, out of his space.
He's most likely totally unaware of what he's doing

BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 04/12/2018 19:19

Out of "your" space that should say

chachaboom · 04/12/2018 19:28

God, just tap him and say something! You've told us he's obstructing your controls/screen, tell him. He's a CF. ©️

BananasAreTheSourceOfEvil · 04/12/2018 19:31

Give him a friendly warning nibble, then go for the biting Grin

Spartacunt · 04/12/2018 19:39

Blow your nose on his sleeve.

mycatistoo · 04/12/2018 19:40

DS shouted (very loudly as he's wearing headphone) "Mummy why is that man's arm in your seat not his?".

He's moved.

God bless 5 year olds. Grin

(He must have spotted my glaring.)

OP posts:
mycatistoo · 04/12/2018 19:41

I should have blown my nose on his sleeve. Honestly I was coughing all over him, I can't believe he didn't move.

Now my throat hurts from fake coughing.

That'll learn me to be less passive aggressive.

Santasushi · 04/12/2018 19:44

5 year olds are the best Grin

mycatistoo · 04/12/2018 19:47

He's also just shouted (again, VERY loudly) "Daddy, how does your breath get to be so so BAD?" GrinGrinGrin
