Hi,
I’m really stuck this year on what to get my DH for Christmas. We’ve agreed to only get each other stocking fillers this year, the only problem is that there’s nothing he really wants and I just can’t think what to get him.
Any ideas very welcome!

I’ve got one like this. So far I’ve got the primary Call of Duty socks and a bottle of nice gin with some Fevertree tonics. It’s a bit tragic really 😂

InspectorIkmen · 04/12/2018 16:04

Primark ffs not primary 😡

thecatsthecats · 04/12/2018 16:04

A miniature spirit (whisky or brandy).
A really nice pair of socks.
A travel toiletry kit.
A few tokens for breakfast in bed (four - one valid for each season?)

LuckyAmy1986 · 04/12/2018 16:05

Bottle of his favourite beer? Biography of someone he likes? Fave choc bars? One of those mini puzzles? If he’s a gamer then a new game? New scarf hat etc? Nice leather gloves?

I had this issue and bought DH a stocking full of different spicy snacks off amazon. Looks lush and I don't have to get anything else Grin

DoneLikeAKipper · 04/12/2018 16:10

What kind of budget are you looking at? How about clothes? Funky socks? Memorabilia related to a sports team/tv show/hobby? Funny mug (I like this one www.moretvicar.com/collection/the-daily-mash/product/im-brilliant-mug), grooming materials, a board game for Xmas day (there’s one called Exploding Kittens that I’m currently looking at).

Sausagefingers9 · 04/12/2018 16:11

What’s he in to?
My dh likes to look nice for work so is always happy with nice ties, cuff links etc.
He also likes skincare products as he finds it too confusing to buy himself.
Luxury food snacks are always a hit, as are spirits etc.

Ninoo25 · 04/12/2018 16:11

lightningstrikes can you post the Amazon link please? That sounds right up my DH’s Street. He’s not much of a drinker, doesn’t play computer games but he is an absolute spice fiend! He also likes puzzles and quizzes

Oh i have loads of ideas. My DH is getting lots of little bits rather than a big gift this year;

Powerpack (portable charger/battery so you can charge your phone where ever you are)
Beard brush/comb/oil set
Minature whisky in a fun tumbler
Book of jokes
Football trivia cards
Socks
Chilli sauce gift set

Ill post again when i think of more!

Bluebell93 · 04/12/2018 16:16

@DoneLikeAKipper Exploding Kittens is a great game, very addictive. If you have more than 5 people you’ll need two sets though.

DoneLikeAKipper · 04/12/2018 16:18

Bluebell93 oh I doubt we’ll ever have that many people, but it looks a lot of fun!

RebeccaCloud9 · 04/12/2018 16:20

Is he into diy? I've just bought my DH a magnetic wristband for screws etc

lpchill · 04/12/2018 16:22

I just found in Lidl a build a crane kit also got a build a spitfire kit. Will keep him busy for a bit.

glamglamgirl · 04/12/2018 16:24

If he has a beard then there are loads of cool accessory kits. A nice Tom Ford aftershave and happy socks, a new Hugo Boss tie and a pair of Jeffrey West shoes.

Oops did I just give away my stocking fillers hehe

Blanchedupetitpois · 04/12/2018 16:28

Good coffee, really fancy chocolate, mini bath oil / aftershave / cologne, mini flying drone (cheap versions on amazon), books (there’s a good one of Mi5 riddles etc if you google), leather credit card holder, seeds (if he’s a gardener), bottle of hot sauce, fancy variety of chilli powder or spicy seasoning

MissConductUS · 04/12/2018 16:34

An Amazon Echo Dot would just about fit in a stocking if you took it out of the box. That's one of the things on my DH's list and they're on sale now.

Bringbackbertha · 04/12/2018 16:36

My dh has socks, pants, slippers, wine and chocolate and some random game things..... it's impossible when they have everything and nothing they really need

Drummingisfun · 04/12/2018 16:39

If he likes beer, wine, whisky you can get little tasting journals for all those for him to note his observations and track his favourites.

Lazybonita · 04/12/2018 16:57

My DH is getting lots of bits this year. He is getting posh coffee and tea and whisky. He likes cool camping stuff so is getting stainless steel wine tumblers and plates and a retro oil lamp. A leatherman multi tool. Some nice espresso cups and saucers that match our new crockery. A very posh jar of mustard from fortnum and mason. Some loccitane shower gel. Some whisky stones. Some will go in his stocking and some under the tree.
