Tesco nappies just aren't what they used yo be

As title really... any Tesco nappy users find the new star design ones just aren't as good as the old owl ones. I loved the Tesco nappies for the mega stretchy sides and the stretch panel across the back.
Why change a good thing? Cost cutting I presume. They are now more like the Aldi nappies but still at Tesco price. I know theres only pence in it but.... EVERY PENNY COUNTS!

I really don’t like them ☹️ They have a horrible chemical smell to them.

Unfortunately, Tesco is our nearest shop, but we will need to start going further out for nappies

Asda nappies have a stretchy panel across the back.

I've found the new ones fit DD better than the old design. They do smell weirdo though.

I haven't noticed much of a difference in the stretchiness, which is why we love them, and I haven't picked up on a funny smell. I'll give one a sniff next nappy change, a clean one that is.

Snap, don’t use them anymore. I find Aldi ones much better.

There was a thread on here the other day that one lady's daughter got quite nasty chemical burns from the new Tesco nappies.

What ones are you using purple or green? I find the purple ones are the same as before. I'm also using the red ones (pull ups in preperation of potty training) but have no experience of them before. The newborn ones are the same as before too although I preferred the old designs for those!
