Mark on baby's leg

My little boy has had this small mark on this leg since he was a couple of months old, maybe younger, I've noticed it's slightly larger than it was and slightly more raised (I think just growing with him! He's now 9.5 months) I'm going to book in with Dr. But any ideas? Could it be a mole/birthmark?

Could be a birthmark but just get it checked for peace of mind.
Id be dubious too if it had appeared after baby was a few months old

Looks like a mole. My DD has a large circular one on her arm which she's had since a few weeks old
