To think you're a CF to bring your argument to my baby's birthday party

I'm absolutely livid right now and I dont know if I'm being unreasonable. This afternoon we had a party for my little girls first birthday. Nothing huge, we took her to an indoor play area and invited some family. My DM shows up with my brothers, and doesn't tell me she's bringing her EXH too. They show up arguing, and then don't speak for the majority of the party. But then my DM was holding DD, and her and her EXH start screaming at eachother. DD starts crying because shes scared but that doesn't stop them. I take DD but she completely inconsolable. We had to leave in the end. I'm so angry and upset and want to give them a piece of my mind but. AIBU to kick off?

yanbu. That was really selfish of them. I would've been livid

I would be livid to. Personally I would ignore both of them until they apologise. To not care that they were scaring a crying child let alone ruining your memories of her first birthday is very low. I wouldn't be allowing any unsupervised contact either as they clearly can't put DDs needs first or care when she's crying inconsolably.

Yadnbu. I would give her a damn good piece of my mind.

It's an embarrassing way to behave in public at all, made worse by the fact that they didn't care that they were scaring a small child on what was supposed to be a happy occasion.

I'd ignore them for a good long while. Or yes, if you feel like it, tell them what you think about their horrible behavior-- and then pretend they don't exist for a while.

Well, I wouldn't be inviting DM to my daughter's second birthday party. And would have no hesitation in telling her why.

YANBU
This is only allowed in episodes of 'Real Housewives of Orange County/Atlanta/Cheshire/etc'

YABU for thinking your post is in anyway requiring an answer OP! Even a viper from the absolute pit of the nest is going to say YANBU in this situation.
