Lucozade and ready salted crisps.
Then later, stodge and more stodge.

maddiemookins16mum · 02/12/2018 12:18

I never get the orange juice for a hangover cure, it’s too acidic for me 😊

Oogle · 02/12/2018 12:18

Full fat coke
Orange juice
Pringles
Sausage rolls
Bourbon biscuits
Hash browns

RitaMills · 02/12/2018 12:20

Two rolls with sausage and potato scone for breakfast, McChicken sandwich meal with chocolate milkshake for lunch and a super spicy Indian curry with veggie pakora and a big greasy paratha for dinner... my hangover routine. Grin

PinkHeart5914 · 02/12/2018 12:21

Definitely need proper full sugar coke or Pepsi

The carbs all the way my love, eat all the carbs and you will be saved. A full English is good but stuff yourself full of toast with it

enoughisenough2 · 02/12/2018 12:23

Boiled eggs for sure

KeepTheBloodyNoiseDown · 02/12/2018 15:26

McDonald’s chips, large full fat coke and a chocolate milkshake for afterwards.

Letthenamesbegin · 02/12/2018 18:10

Not that I can ever be bothered with a hangover but many years ago went to a wedding abroad and woke up he next morning dying a slow death. For some reason had spagetti bolognaise for breakfast - along with a little swim totally cured the hangover

imgoingtoloosemymind · 02/12/2018 18:12

Earlier I had a crusty French baguette, with real butter, a dairylea slice with Tayto cheese and onion in it. Washed down with a freezing cold tin of full fat coke and a whispa for dessert. Diet starts tomorrow 😫

FurryDogMother · 02/12/2018 18:15

I'm too late now, but what you really needed was black pudding, fried, served with grilled tomatoes, and a really spicy Bloody Mary on the side. Then bed for a few hours, with a bottle of fizzy water next to you. Works wonders :)

PopPopRadio · 02/12/2018 18:23

Adrenaline is the ultimate cure but obviously you need to physically do something! I've always found go karting to get rid of my hangovers...followed by a post race pint.

DavetheCat2001 · 02/12/2018 18:26

I'm hungover - I had scrambled eggs on toast when I got up, and a big fuck off bowl of pasta with pesto at a cafe for lunch.

I am now counting down to a big fuck off takeaway curry when the kids have gone to bed and harmony and balance will be restored.

Sitranced · 02/12/2018 18:26

Eggy crumpets with bacon and hot sauce. Several pints of tea.

BumDisease · 02/12/2018 18:28

I've got my slice and plain loaf bought in preparation of the hangover I'm going to have tomorrow...

NaiceShoes · 02/12/2018 18:29

I didn't realise how annoying it was when people say 'full fat coke'. I thought I had made it up and had better stop now because it looks dumb when so many people do it Blush

dudsville · 02/12/2018 18:30

For those who don't like meat or lots of added sugar during a hangover can i suggest the following. A big glass of water, toast with peanut butter on it with a glass of cold milk, THEN a coffee. After a short break this will then be followed by scramble eggs with mushrooms and veggie sausages and baked beans cooked with chilli flakes and a little cheese, and buttered toast and tea. A nap. A bath. A walk. You're ready to face the world again!

LunaLovesgood · 02/12/2018 18:34

The breakfast came back up Envy not envy

Had the most wonderful shower and nap after though and have just convinced DH to order us takeaway.

It's been years since I was this poorly the day after Blush

My go-to cure is a steaming hot mug of tea with two sugars (in a bucket sized mug!!)
Something about drinking something hot takes away that horrible post-drinking taste in your mouth and stops me feeling quite as queasy- the sugar helps too!!

Mayvis · 02/12/2018 18:39

This was me yesterday.

I managed a plain hob nob with a few sips of water to ease me in. Cup of tea after.

Then a sausage roll and can of proper coke. Some crisps in the afternoon and I was sorted.

LakieLady · 02/12/2018 18:50

Luna, you have my sympathy.

If the cooked breakfast turns out to be kill rather than cure, then I have to take to my bed and drink fruit and barley squash until I feel able to risk a Rich Tea biscuit.

God, I hate hangovers. It's why I hardly drink these days. When my menopause arrived, my drinking boots left and I started to get the most appalling hangovers, sometimes morphing into a full-blown migraine.

When a 3-hour sesh on the sauce leads to 3 days of pain, nausea and vomiting, it really doesn't seem worth it.

Mummadeeze · 02/12/2018 18:54

Quite bad hangover - sausage roll and chocolate milk.
V bad hangover - chicken and sweet corn soup from a Chinese really helps
Don’t have acidic juices!

DavetheCat2001 · 02/12/2018 19:35

I social-smoked loads of fags too cos I'm a prat 🙄

Always makes the folliwing day feel that little bit more grubby.

Singlebutmarried · 02/12/2018 19:41

Ginsters steak slice and a can of red bull for starters.

Then as much KFC as you can eat.

Back to the pub after that.

MaggieMcGill · 02/12/2018 19:48

Can of irn bru and a roll and square sausage with brown sauce!

BumDisease · 02/12/2018 19:50

Broon sauce?? Pervert! Grin
