Ordered a Nintendo switch for DPs Christmas present manchild. So expensive item.

Royal Mail said delivered today. Checked tracking information - signed for by a name I don't recognise and no red card has been left.

1. What's to stop that person stealing the item... surely signed for should be signed for by the person on the address label, no?

AIBU to be annoyed? Plus I've been in all morning so why haven't they just delivered it here????

Yup, this happened to me a few months ago. Luckily it was nothing expensive but I never found who took in the parcel (I went to all close houses to check).
I did end up getting a full refund though which was handy.

If you go online, there's a link from the tracking info somewhere to tell you what to do when something says it's been delivered but you haven't received it.

They keep leavingy parcels on the doorstep,no effort to ring the door bell.Since I am having parcels delivered regularly this week I am a bit pissed off at this as they are all wet .

Was expecting a parcel from states, never got here and no "collect card" was left - yesterday I found out that it was returned to sender, will be making a formal complaint in writing. My guess is someone couldn't be arsed or were pushed for time to actually delivery!

After spending 40 mins on hold to Royal Mail the lines then cut off as they close at 1pm. Hahahahahahaha. Not.

Yes I have this problem, ordered spiderman for PS4 according to royal mail, it's been delivered no red card or anything left and it has not come through my door.

We had a note through the door saying to collect from the depot as we were out- but we weren’t. We heard the letter box and looked out the window to see the van drive away.
Phoned the depot and managed to argue for redelivery but I just don’t trust them at all now

I must say my experience of them resolving problems isn't first class. I frequently find a card through my door, despite me being home and our house being so small that anyone can see that I am home. Said card is always incomplete and on several occasions I haven't been able to organise redelivery due to missing information. On other occasions I have arranged redelivery and it's not been redelivered and there's no option online to organise a failed redelivery. When I phoned up once the guy said that I needed to complain so that they can fix local issues - that clearly worked. 😕

All you can do is either wait until Monday to phone RM or phone the company you ordered from and explain that it's not arrived.

I accidentally signed for a neighbour’s package, postie shoved an armful of Xmas shopping in my arms and I didn’t notice the address til he was long gone. Then I put it in a cupboard so DC wouldn’t get hold of it and forgot to take it round for a day!

If you’re in the UK and didn’t pay the £25 custom charge they will return to sender or destroy. You don’t even see the parcel until you’ve paid that.

Arghhh now the tracking says delivered at 8.31 with signature...

But at 9.40 says waiting at delivery office for collection or delivery? If which I can do neither because I don't have a card. Useless!

Screen shot what you are looking at so you can reference it when you call RM. Hope it gets resolved quickly for you.
