I am feeling mildly under the weather.
DS (6) is feeling VERY AWAKE AND FULL OF ENERGY.
DP, thankfully, is doing bedtime.

So, hot gin toddies. I didn't even know this was a thing before tonight. Enlighten me!

Do you know Jawbox gin? A great gin toddy=35ml Jawbox gin, 10 ml Jawbox Braemble liqueur, 10ml honey, cinnamon stick and slice of ginger, topped with boiling water, orange slice and cloves Grin

Not specifically answering your question op, but after being floored by a bike cold this week, DH made me a hot toddy while I ran a hot bath, then another when I got into bed and it worked a treat!

Hot waste, fresh squeezed lemon, sugar, honey and a generous glugg of whisky...knocked me out for ten hours v and woke up feeling miles better!

Both sound delicious - thank you! Currently tucked up with hot water, fresh squeezed lemon juice, honey with cinnamon, and Gunpowder Gin.

It's very nice but I think this warrants further exploration. I bet Flor de Sevilla orangey gin would be an amazing toddy base.
