Or stuff my DC might like? I'm thinking older things....old BBC series etc that might be Christmassy....etc.

Can’t think of anything specific, but maybe search for Christmas specials of tv shows? Also love your username Star

For a fun Christmas song try this one.

How old are DC? I remember loving The Box of Delights and The Children of Green Know in the 80s.

AjasLipstick · 30/11/2018 07:01

Coffee Thanks! :D Good tip.

The DC are 10 and 14....it's really me and the younger one who watch these sort of things.

Aristotle YES to the Children of Green Knowe! MAGICAL series that was....unfortunately, DD was a bit perplexed by it all for some reason. I think the quality of the film was bad...I will look for the Box of Delights though!

Aristotle Just clicked onto The Box of Delights and that's exactly what I wanted! Thanks!

Anymore for anymore?

I can recommend East of Ipswich which I caught the other day...not Christmassy but wonderfully evocative. Written by Michael Palin.

I cant link and it's only an advert but search 'Bouygues Christmas ad' it's the sweetest thing and better than John Lewis or Sainsbury's by far

SexNotJenga · 30/11/2018 07:13

Not for your dc, but I like the Peep Show Christmas episode. Season's Beatings, I think it's called.

seastargirl · 30/11/2018 07:18

Try Bernard and the genie, lenny Henry and Alan cummings it's brilliant.

FlaviaAlbia · 30/11/2018 07:20

I came on to recommend Bernard and the Genie too seastargirl Smile it's so good I don't know why they've never put it back on the BBC.

Underpressureidiot · 30/11/2018 07:40

The Greatest Store In The World. Very early 2000s (including s club 7!) but great fun and makes me feel so Christmassy

LoudestRoar · 30/11/2018 07:46

Not Youtube, but I keep hearing great things about The Christmas Chronicles on Netflix

CaptainCallisto · 30/11/2018 08:44

The Flint Street Nativity is great. Lots of then TV stars (and some who are still about!) being kids putting on their nativity play. We watch it on YouTube every year Grin

Crimebustersofthesea · 30/11/2018 08:46

I was going to say Bernard and the genie too. I'm sure your kids would enjoy it (it's pretty silly Grin)
