My DN is getting married next year, we are not invited which I'm ok with. Between me and DH plus our children and grandchildren there would be 11 people. So we can understand cost etc.
This will be the same weekend that it will be our ruby wedding anniversary. Last week I have booked a weekend away for ME,DH, DC and DGC in a country hotel.
Today I was telling DM about this and she got quite offended that she wasn't invited, I explained that it was the weekend of our anniversary and that's when we wanted to celebrate. It was the actual day.
Qué my brother (father of the bride) came in and again I explained about our weekend. He reminded DM that he had already booked her a hotel room for Dn's wedding and it was paid for.
I will be honest I didn't want her there, another thread needed for reasons for that.
Can I scream now or every day until it has passed.
