To ask you to tell me your heart rate while resting, and what it increases to while moving around? Need reassurance!

I posted the other day as I'd had a sickness bug and during the night felt unwell, so checked my heart rate on my watch. It was up to 120 and didn't go below 100 all night. The next day I was better and it went back to normal. But today its around 70-80 while sitting down but when I am moving around it is shooting up to max 120 again. I don't feel particularly unwell? In the past it's not gone over 100 while just moving around, even when walking fast pushing the buggy! Do I need to get checked? I can't find a proper answer on Google.

Don't worry Op, 70-80 is quite normal I was told by a Dr thatwhen you're active up to 130 is fine, it's only when you're at 120 resting it's too fast. Better still, just see your dr?

Mine is around 55 at rest but jumps up very quickly! I’m spinning my legs on my static bike as I type and it’s climbed up to 115 already without putting a great deal of effort in. I can run at over 180 for over an hour easily. I’m working on improving my fat burning zone!

Thanks for the replies, it seems to be ok now, I have tightened the strap up and I think that has helped it to get a more accurate reading. I will book into the gp next week if any more concerns over the weekend.
