Just that really.

Struggling with ideas for little things that won’t break the bank but at the same time will actually be used and enjoyed for longer than 5 mins.

Help! Grin

French knitting doll?
I used to love mine

Puddingmama2017 · 28/11/2018 20:59

I’ve just googled as never heard of them. Think the 7yr old would love that! Thank you!

I would go with practical gifts in s theme they like. Eg. nice bubble bath, electric/fun toothbrush, bath bombs; new swim goggles/towel etc. Hair bobbles/bows/detangler brush. Small art/crafts items or new pencils/sharpeners/pencil case.
Fancy lip balm/gloves/socks
Hot chocolate & marshmallows.
Beanie babies. New water bottle.

I have an 11 yr old and a 9 yr old and I have told them stockings are not going to be just 'stuff this year but useful, practical things - although nice with it! Things I have done before:
Socks, shower gel, lip balm, sweets/chocolate, nail file, useful stationary, little books, soduku/word search puzzles, coloured Pritt Sticks, knickers, hairbrush, flannel, pack of tissues, shiny one pound coin, guitar picks, toothbrush, teeth cleaning timer, something to do with their hobbies.
