I’ll start. There is absolutely nothing acceptable about all day breakfast in a tin so why did I buy it in B&M earlier and eat it for dinner?! Blush

I love Beanfeast. I make beanfeast spaghetti Bologna's. no idea what it's even made of but the name suggests beans of some kind

longwayoff · 28/11/2018 14:47

Bought a tin of Spam for grandson's WW2 project, it got shoved to the back of the cupboard for a couple of years until discovered recently by Northern Dad. Spam fritters have now polluted lentil land. Went down very well when mum was out.

Lovingbenidorm
Jellied eels are delish and not at all unreasonable. Eel is a firm, meaty kind of fish.

sushisuperstar · 28/11/2018 15:05

Chip butty

MotherWol · 28/11/2018 15:12

Cheese & kimchi toasties
Peanut butter & pickled gherkin sandwiches
Scrambled eggs on marmite toast
There's a Korean place near my office that does kimchi fried rice with cut up hotdogs, optional melted processed cheese slice on top. Hangover food of the gods.

Have recently returned from food shopping. Somehow Supernoodles, Cup a soups, tomato ketchup, and some Reece’s pieces found their way into my trolley. I may have to go out again for some hula hoops so I can use them as pastry cutters on slices of cheese.

Instant hot chocolate mixed to a paste with cream then topped up as normal with boiling water does it for me. Once stirred it forms an amazing thick chocolatey skin. Just finished a mug.

Entire net of babybel
Mozzarella cheese ball with salt and pepper and olive oil on - eaten by itself - no tomato, that ruins it entirely.
Instant mash with instant gravy
Instant gravy on anything actually
Cauliflower cheese grills from Tesco or Waitrose - eaten on their own.
"Fish banquet" of entire packet of fish fingers and entire bag of scampi eaten on it's own.

Cheap nasty cheddar toastie made with cheap white bread (best eaten with the big light on when DH out - he is revolted by white bread and bright lights :D)

Marginally more nutritious option - whole head of steamed broccoli smothered in a ridiculous amount of butter and salt. I can eat broccoli for every meal to be fair.

stayathomer · 28/11/2018 15:27

Heinz spaghetti-but not the loops!!!!

moonfacebaby · 28/11/2018 15:28

So many that have been mentioned on here!

I love pork scratchings (despite someone once telling me that they found a nipple in one packet 🤢)

Cockles in jars, hot dogs (the ones in jars, which I can’t stop eating once the jar is open), cold beans out of the tin.

Lozz22 · 28/11/2018 15:45

*Also butter on weetabix, definitely not SW food though
*
Weetabix with butter and jam. Its the only way I can eat them. The look and the smell of mushed up weetabix makes me feel Confused when I was finally able to eat again in hospital that's what I ate for breakfast because by the time the toast came round it was cold and rock hard. I'm not a lover of cereal and porridge is vile!!

Pinkyponkcustard · 28/11/2018 15:45

Coco pops - although they’ve got less crap in them these days Angry

I have a secret stash that ds doesn’t know about.

thighofrelief · 28/11/2018 15:53

thighofrelief · 28/11/2018 15:54

MrsBartlettforthewin · 28/11/2018 15:56

Marmalade and cheese on toast.

thighofrelief · 28/11/2018 15:57

Pot noodle sandwich (curry pot noodle on white buttered bread yes mate)

MaMisled · 28/11/2018 16:03

Tinned macaroni cheese
" " ravioli

Aldi cheese curls
Dairylea and pickled onions in pasta.
Tomato sauce and salad cream mixed up and spread over cheese on toast.

MaMisled · 28/11/2018 16:03

Oh my God......the king of crap food.....Rustlers Rib Burger!!!!

flowerandflower · 28/11/2018 16:05

Aldi cheese curls are not unreasonable @MaMisled 😂 Cheap quavers! love them

LakieLady · 28/11/2018 16:05

Seriously strong cheddar cheese spread on a hot, buttered crumpet.

Or several.

thighofrelief · 28/11/2018 16:09

Ok - perfect dinner - chips, battered spam, curry sauce, pickled egg, mushy peas. Battenberg.

MotherWol · 28/11/2018 16:13

M&S used to do a vacuum packed 'brunch' in a box. I loved the bacon and potato one and always had a couple of boxes in the cupboard when I was in my 20s for sunday morning hangovers. I would still buy them if I could.

@caperplips get yourself to Sainsbury's, it still exists! Usually in the aisle with the tinned veg and instant mashed potato. Lidl also do one but you have to keep it in the fridge, and it's usually next to the garlic bread/fresh pasta.

Christmas cake and cheddar.
Pork scratchings.
Doughnuts
Those smoked sausages in the foil packets.

DaftCat · 28/11/2018 16:22

Speaking of hot chocolate, as someone upthread did, mix 3 tsp Cadbury drinking chocolate with enough evaporated milk to make a paste, top up with boiling water and another big splosh of evap milk. Makes the creamiest, loveliest hot chocolate ever. Evaporated milk is amazing in coffee too. Just don’t try it in tea.
