To think something as simple as margarine was affecting my cycles?

NC for this as I realise it sounds ridiculous. It took a long time for me to have DD. My cycles were very irregular. The cycle before I did conceive I remember reading about the fertility diet and how eating more natural can help. Some of the changes suggested included not having things like margarine but butter instead. I got pregnant the next month having a 28 day cycle (never had a 28 day cycle before) At the time I did not think anything of it. I was just delighted to conceive.

Fast forward to now cycles irregular again. However this month by chance DH got butter instead of margarine. I didn't think anything of it other than enjoyed my toast more Grin. I have had a 28 day cycle!

AIBU (and slightly ridiculous) to think such a small things could be affecting my cycles?
Also Any similar experience welcome.

YABU for buying margarine instead of butter, it’s awful stuff! I’d say if it happens a third time then it’s not coincidence

I have regular cycles when I eat a ketogenic diet, so most of my calories come from fat.

Well there’s logic in it - milk is full of cow hormones so not nuts to think that could affect our bodies

Marg is a synthetic product. You could well be right.
